1. About RavenForge 3D
RavenForge 3D provides on-demand FDM 3D printing services, including the production of parts from customer-supplied 3D models, drawings, photographs or other information.
These Terms & Conditions apply to orders placed with RavenForge 3D.
2. Quotes and Orders
All quotations are provided based on the information available at the time of quotation.
A quotation will normally specify the estimated price, quantity, material and any other relevant requirements.
A quotation is not an acceptance of an order until the customer confirms that they wish to proceed.
We may contact you if further information or clarification is required before an order can be accepted.
Small orders may be subject to a minimum charge. The applicable charge will be confirmed as part of the quotation.
3. Customer-Supplied Designs and Information
The customer is responsible for ensuring that any files, designs, photographs, measurements or other information supplied to RavenForge 3D are accurate and that they have the right to use them.
The customer must not provide files or designs that infringe another person's intellectual property rights or other legal rights.
Where a customer asks RavenForge 3D to recreate or modify a part based on photographs, measurements or other information, the final result may vary depending on the accuracy and completeness of the information provided.
4. Materials and Printing
We will recommend a suitable material and printing approach based on the intended use of the part and the information provided.
3D printing can involve normal variations in surface finish, colour, dimensions and appearance. These variations do not necessarily indicate a fault.
Where specific dimensional tolerances, finishes or material properties are required, these should be agreed before the order is accepted.
5. Payment
The agreed price must be paid in accordance with the payment terms provided with the quotation or order.
Additional work requested by the customer after an order has been accepted may result in an additional charge. Where reasonably possible, we will confirm any additional cost before carrying out the additional work.
6. Production and Delivery
We will make reasonable efforts to meet any estimated production or delivery times provided with a quotation.
Production and delivery times may vary depending on the complexity of the job, material availability, machine availability and other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Delivery times provided are estimates unless a specific delivery date has been expressly agreed.
7. Returns, Faults and Consumer Rights
RavenForge 3D respects all applicable consumer rights under Irish law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes any statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
If a product is faulty, not as described or otherwise does not meet the requirements of applicable consumer law, the customer should contact RavenForge 3D as soon as possible so that the issue can be assessed and an appropriate remedy provided.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, the customer may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
For online purchases, consumers generally have a 14-day cancellation period. This right does not apply to goods that are personalised or made to the customer's specifications. This exception does not affect the customer's statutory rights where goods are faulty or otherwise do not comply with the law.
8. Warranty
Unless a separate written warranty is provided, RavenForge 3D does not provide an additional commercial warranty beyond the customer's statutory rights.
Any statutory rights that apply to the goods or services remain unaffected.
9. Intended Use and Safety
The customer is responsible for ensuring that a printed part is suitable for its intended application where RavenForge 3D has not specifically designed or certified the part for that application.
Parts should not be used in safety-critical applications unless their suitability has been specifically assessed and agreed in writing.
The customer should follow any installation, operating or safety instructions provided with the product.
10. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed, the customer retains ownership of their own designs and files.
RavenForge 3D will not knowingly use customer-supplied designs for purposes unrelated to fulfilling the customer's order without permission.
RavenForge 3D retains ownership of its own original designs, models and intellectual property.
11. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
Subject to applicable law, RavenForge 3D will not be responsible for loss or damage resulting from the customer's misuse, modification, incorrect installation or unsuitable use of a printed product.
12. Changes to These Terms
RavenForge 3D may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version applicable to an order will be the version in effect when the order is accepted, unless otherwise required by law.
